About the Role
As an Associate, LM FX Trading, your role sits within the Korea Local Markets Trading team and is responsible for supporting and growing ANZ’s FX franchise in Korea. The FX Trader will take ownership of trading, risk management and client flow across FX Spot, Swap and Forward products, with a strong focus on KRW and Asia FX markets. You will have a close collaboration with Sales, Global FX Trading desks and Risk, and a high degree of independent judgement.

Role Type: Full-time; Permanent
What will your day look like?
- Trade and manage FX Spot, Swaps and Forwards, primarily KRW and selected APAC currencies
- Take ownership of client flow hedging, market risk and positioning
- Proactively manage P&L and risk within approved limits
- Provide consistent pricing, execution quality and market colour to Sales and clients
- Work closely with Global FX Trading desks to manage liquidity and optimize positioning
- Contribute to the development of the Korea FX trading franchise
- Ensure full compliance with internal risk, control and regulatory requirements
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Solid experience on an FX trading desk, ideally at VP level or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of FX market dynamics, liquidity and interest rate linkages
- Demonstrated experience trading KRW and/or Asia FX markets
- Proven ability to independently manage risk and make trading decisions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Sales and regional partners
- Fluency in Korean and strong working proficiency in English as the role will be communicating with local and global stakeholders
