About the Role

As a Recruitment Consultant in ANZ’s Talent & Culture team, you'll play a critical role in connecting ANZ with exceptional talent that enables our business to deliver for customers and achieve its strategic goals. Partnering closely with business leaders and Talent & Culture colleagues, you'll provide expert recruitment support across senior and specialist financial services roles.

 

You'll act as a trusted advisor, guiding hiring managers through recruitment strategy, market insights, talent availability and best practice hiring approaches to support informed and effective hiring decisions. Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, you’ll help candidates navigate their career opportunities at ANZ, delivering a seamless and positive experience throughout the process.

 

Leveraging your market expertise and sourcing capability,  you'll proactively identify, engage and attract high-calibre talent, building strong pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs. Through your consultative approach, stakeholder influence and relationship-building skills, you'll create lasting partnerships with business leaders while ensuring exceptional candidate experience.

What will your day look like?

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver end-to-end recruitment for critical and specialist roles.
  • Provide market insights and recruitment advice, including talent availability, competitor activity, sourcing strategies and hiring trends.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines aligned to current and future workforce capability requirements.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, delivering exceptional experiences for candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Champion inclusive hiring outcomes by embedding diversity, equity and inclusion principles across sourcing, assessment and selection activities. Ensure strong recruitment governance, data integrity and compliance with ANZ policies and processes.
  • Collaborate across Talent & Culture and business teams to support strategic workforce planning, and talent initiatives.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in internal recruitment within large, complex organisations, ideally supporting professional hiring.
  • Experience recruiting within Financial Services, Banking, Wealth, Insurance, Risk, Compliance or related professional services environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to navigate challenging conversations and provide trusted advice to senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate data, documentation and process. compliance.Strong understanding of local talent markets, including the ability to identify, engage and attract high-calibre talent through proactive sourcing strategies.
  • A resilient and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance competing priorities, and respond to changing business needs.
