About Us
At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Lead, Operational Risk, you will play a key role in the Business & Private Bank (B&PB) Operational Risk & Resilience Centre of Excellence, acting as an embedded Line 1B risk assurance partner across strategic initiatives.
You will provide independent review, challenge, and advisory to operational risk and resilience across strategic projects e.g. Single Customer Front End (SCFE), ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and managed throughout the change lifecycle and ensuring alignment with risk appetite, frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
The role focuses on providing proactive risk guidance, robust challenge, and assurance over change requirements, risk assessments, control design, and governance in delivery.
You will work closely with delivery teams to uplift risk capability and ensure consistent application of risk frameworks, provide challenge and escalation where frameworks are not operating effectively, and deliver data-driven insights to support informed, risk-aware decision-making.
Banking is changing and we're changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you'll be building your future while helping to build ours.
