About the Role
This role plays a critical role in shaping how we equip our Executives with the confidence and capability to lead the culture evolution and NFR management uplift across the bank, as part of the organisational PACT program.
The PACT program (People, Accountabilities, Customers and Trust) is a critical component of our enterprise transformation, which has been established to deliver better customer, risk and business outcomes through sustainable improvements to ANZ’s non-financial risk management practices.
This role exists to understand the Executive learning and capability requirements across the program by engaging with a vast range of stakeholders, and then design, build and implement solutions suitable for an Executive audience, with measurable and sustainable impact.
Role type: 12 month fixed term opportunity
Role location: Melbourne – open to other ANZ Australia locations
What will your day look like?
As a Manager, Leadership Capability, you will be accountable for:
- Championing an integrated capability uplift experience for our Executives – working closely with key stakeholders to design, build and implement a seamless capability uplift experience for our executives, working closely with the Executive Experience lead to ensure deliverables are thoughtfully integrated
- Managing stakeholder relationships – working with a portfolio of cross-bank stakeholders and SMEs to ensure alignment and collaboration across deliverables
- Solution design – contributing to the high-level design of the overall experience, and leading the detailed design of key components as agreed, working with a key stakeholders, vendors and SMEs
What will you bring?
Critical knowledge, skills and experience required for this role:
- Organisational Development experience, with relevant capability/learning experience with leaders/Execs
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, with a strong track record of building trusted relationships, building influence and alignment, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Consulting skills - including the ability to distil diverse insights into actionable and commercial designs
- Problem solving – proven ability to take multiple data points and identify problems and solutions in line with the strategic context and priorities
- Learning/capability design – proven track record of designing end-to-end solutions for senior executives with measurable impact (ideally at scale i.e. ~top 200, across a blend of modalities, with successful test, refine, and embed activities)
- Passion and experience in driving enterprise outcomes, with a track record of working across business units / divisions to drive alignment, unlock value, and deliver better outcomes for customers and shareholders
- Planning and prioritising what needs to be done including people, process and implications to deliver upon strategic priorities. This includes identifying, planning for, tracking and resolving dependencies
- Qualifications in Organisational Development (OD), Learning, Organisational Psychology, or other relevant professions in HR, Business or Human Behaviour, or equivalent experience gained in learning, compliance, governance, or project support roles.
Desirable, but not mandatory, skills knowledge and experience:
- Proven expertise in driving complex initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic/organisational goals and stakeholder expectations (encompassing program initiation, strategic resource allocation, budget oversight, governance frameworks, and executive-level reporting etc).
- Vendor Management - vendor management and partnerships to deliver strategic initiatives.
