About the Role

As a Change Manager within the Chief Transformation Office, you will play a key role in helping ANZ deliver strategic, regulatory, risk, productivity and transformation initiatives required for the most significant reforms to Financial Crime & External Fraud risk in Australia.  You will lead a discrete change workstream or deliverable, ensuring the people impacts of change are understood, planned and effectively managed to support successful business outcomes. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and change leaders to assess impacts, develop change interventions and drive business readiness. You will work independently to deliver change outcomes, provide recommendations on workstream decisions and contribute to larger transformation programs under the guidance of a Program Change Lead or Senior Change Manager.

What will your day look like?

As a Change Manager, you are accountable for:

 

Change Strategy & Planning

· Develop and deliver change management plans for a defined workstream, initiative or business outcome.

· Assess and manage people impacts resulting from process, technology, operating model or regulatory change.

· Conduct stakeholder and change impact assessments to inform delivery strategies.

· Identify change risks, issues and dependencies and recommend mitigation actions.

· Support the integration of change activities into broader program delivery plans.

Change Delivery & Adoption

· Execute change activities to support the successful adoption of new ways of working.

· Develop and implement change interventions that improve stakeholder readiness and business engagement.

· Support impacted teams through transitions, ensuring change activities are practical and outcome-focused.

· Monitor change progress and recommend adjustments to improve adoption outcomes.

 

 

Stakeholder Engagement

· Build effective relationships with business stakeholders, people leaders and delivery teams.
· Facilitate workshops, discussions and engagement activities to gather input and build alignment.
· Communicate change impacts and recommendations in a clear, concise and practical manner.
· Support leaders in understanding their role in delivering successful change outcomes.
· Influence decisions within a workstream through evidence-based recommendations and insights
· Contribute to the delivery of sustainable behavioural and organisational change.

What will you bring?

 

Must have’ knowledge, skills and experiences

· 5+ years' experience in change management, organisational change, transformation delivery or related disciplines.
· Financial Crime knowledge and experience
· Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies and practices.
· Experience leading a discrete change workstream or deliverable.
· Demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder, impact and readiness assessments.
· Strong communication, facilitation and engagement skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
· Experience supporting complex business, technology or operating model change.
· Strong problem-solving capability and ability to develop practical recommendations.
· Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
· Experience working within project, program or transformation environments.

 

‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences

· Banking or financial services experience.

· Fraud knowledge and experience 

· Experience delivering regulatory, risk, remediation or compliance programs.

· Experience working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments.

· Knowledge of organisational design, operating model change and business transformation.

· Experience using change management and collaboration tools such as Prosci, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Miro or similar

platforms.

· Exposure to enterprise-scale change and transformation programs.
