About the Role
As a Customer Due Diligence / Onboarding Strategy Manager in our Business & Private Bank division, you will support the Customer Due Diligence/Onboarding Strategy Lead in executing the Customer Due Diligence agenda for the customer & banker journey to define and implement optimal processes for financial crime and onboarding.

Work Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
What will your day look like?
As a Customer Due Diligence / Onboarding Strategy Manager, you will support the Customer Due Diligence/Onboarding Strategy Lead on:
- Executing on the Customer Due Diligence/KYC/onboarding agenda by accelerating the transition to the future state KYC lifecycle ensuring process integrity and alignment with Business needs
- Defining the end-to-end Financial Crime/KYC/Onboarding priorities in collaboration with cross-functional leaders (e.g. Operations, Technology, Retail, Institutional, etc.)
- Supporting to create an optimal KYC value proposition across Business & Private Bank
- Play an active role in articulating the needs of B&PB customers in enterprise or Divisional programs that impact on B&PB customers, then assist to oversee, coordinate and execute on all co-existence work
- Working with Technology, Commercial Digital & Customer Experience team and other delivery partners to ensure the KYC/Onboarding approach and delivery receives appropriate priority to deliver the agenda
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Understanding of the Financial Crime and KYC regulatory landscape (AML, CTF, etc.) with a view of how that integrates within Banking systems
- Demonstrates a strong customer focus with practical application of the requirements
- Stakeholder management: The ability to identify, understand and anticipate the needs of those who can affect or be affected by your work in order to gain commitment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the technical financial crime elements with the business/practical application of those
- The ability to use logic and reasoning to analyse, evaluate and synthesize a range of information to understand an opportunity or challenge
- The ability to identify and assess risks, determine the corrective action required to control or eliminate the risks and effectively manage issues that arise
- Planning and prioritising what needs to be done (including people, process and technology implications) in order to deliver upon customer/user needs and strategic priorities
