As a Sponsorship Specialist in our Sponsorship team within Marketing, you’ll play a key role in supporting the execution of sponsorship leverage programs to meet business and brand objectives. You will also help build ANZ’s social license and demonstrate our corporate purpose through the sponsorship leverage activity.

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like

As a Sponsorship Specialist, you are accountable for:

  • Working with the Sponsorship Managers and our partners to help deliver execution of the leverage plan and manage delivery of our contractual rights.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure our sponsorships are being maximised across all ANZ channels and create content accordingly.
  • Liaising with community groups to support and deliver ANZ’s role in our sponsorships.
  • Assisting in creating and executing staff engagement initiatives that encourage staff to be advocates for our sponsorships.
  • Ensuring the delivery of sponsorship activity is on time, aligned to objectives and brand guidelines, and that we advocate for the target audience/fan/community throughout the campaign or initiative.
  • Drafting, reviewing and providing feedback on copy for various channels including partner and ANZ channels. Ensure content is fit-for-purpose, grammatically correct, has the right messages and tone, and adheres to the ANZ brand. 
  • Supporting the management of identifying dependencies and risks for sponsorship leverage activities.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • This appointment requires a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the role specifically in sponsorship, marketing or customer strategy experience
  • Project management skills demonstrating attention to detail
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to build and influence positive collaborative relationships with stakeholders, sponsorship partners and suppliers
  • Budget management experience
