Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Senior Campaign Analyst in our Personalisation Team, you'll be responsible for driving data-led decision-making through measurement, customer insight analysis, and the identification of behavioural triggers to support effective communication strategies. As part of a team focused on delivering personalised, omni-channel communication journeys at scale, you will apply strong technical data skills alongside knowledge of banking products and services to generate actionable insights. You will play a key role in transforming complex data into meaningful customer strategies, enabling targeted, relevant, and timely communications that enhance customer engagement and business outcomes.

As a Senior Campaign Analyst, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Support  the achievement of agreed financial targets and provide full transparency of status throughout delivery
  • Use technical coding skills (e.g., SQL, SAS) to extract, analyze, and generate insights from data
  • Synthesize insights from multiple sources, including customer research and third-party data
  • Develop and implement complex behavioural triggers to support targeted communications
  • Investigate and validate data issues to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Build, maintain, and optimize propensity models for communication strategies
  • Define and develop measurement frameworks and performance metrics for campaigns
  • Create and maintain dashboards to monitor communication performance
  • Document assumptions, methodologies, and key decisions for transparency and governance
  • Help mentor team members to build capability and knowledge

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive experience in SQL/SAS coding (development and analysis skills)
  • Broad knowledge of Financial Service products and processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with people at different level
  • Problem-solving and analytical mind-set, with strong attention to detail
