As a Finance Associate in our CFO Units, you’ll play a key role in driving ANZ’s financial performance by supporting strategy, enabling informed decision-making, and ensuring strong financial integrity across the business.

The key responsibilities of the Finance Associate role will include the following:

 

  • Lean in to support varied scopes of work across a range of ANZ’s Finance teams, building capability and broad exposure across the function
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and maintain strong financial integrity
  • Contribute to financial modelling, analysis, and the development of forward-looking insights
  • Be challenged to think broadly about real business issues and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • A genuine interest in wanting to understand business structure and a desire to stay informed on issues impacting the industry
  • A strong commitment to supporting an inclusive team culture and an ability to thrive in diverse environments
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to connect and engage to deliver key messages
  • Sound decision making skills, using data and insights to help form solutions
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key business partners
  • Previous working experience (at least 3 years) in a finance or adjacent environment would be preferred
