As a Relationship Manager, you’ll join a flourishing team and help us shape the future of agriculture within Whakatāne and wider Eastern Bay region.

As a Relationship Manager, you’ll enjoy the challenge and rewards of:

 

  • Building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of agricultural business customers.
  • Understanding your customers’ unique needs and proactively delivering tailored solutions to support their goals and ambitions.
  •  Promoting valuable resources such as workshops, materials, and specialists to enhance your customers’ experience.
  • Developing and growing a customer portfolio while continuing to care for existing, long-standing relationships.
  • Enhancing ANZ Business' presence within the marketplace, networking with key stakeholders, and showcasing our unique value.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the bank to ensure your customers receive the support and expertise they need to succeed.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, fostering deep connections, and building a network of support within the agricultural community.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Proven experience in relationship management, business development, and generating new business
  • Previous experience within banking / financial and/or agricultural industry in a similar capacity would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Confident networking skills to enhance customer relationships, and growing portfolios
  • An analytical and growth mind set, with proficiency in evaluating financial accounts, budgets and cash-flow
  • Ability to be proactive and act decisively with information on hand
