As a Senior Experience Designer in our Customer Experience and Design Centre of Excellence, you’ll take the lead in defining and creating beautiful experiences that delight our customers.

This role is responsible for leading digital design initiatives across our digital platforms that support our strategic objectives as well as ensure business success.


As a Senior Experience Designer, your role will be to:

 

  • Contribute and lead digital design projects, bringing your exceptional UX and UI design skills to the foreground by creating better experiences for our customers
  • Advocate for inclusive design principles especially accessibility across design projects and initiatives
  • Craft and deliver design artefacts that are high quality, consistent, coherent and align with our digital design strategy and design systems.
  • Collaborate with developers and other designers to grow our design system.
  • Provide design advice, guidance and support to other designers and stakeholders to ensure best practice is applied
  • Advocate and champion design thinking by bringing customer insights and data to the decision table
  • Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to bring them along on the design journey with you

You are an experienced designer, passionate about understanding customers’ needs and motivations, and creating delightful experiences that are human focused. You balance form and function in your designs and ensure the design solutions you have created are coherent and consistent. 

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • 5-8 years’ experience undertaking and leading user experience and user interface design activities
  • Strong expertise in user interface design, visual design, prototyping, interaction design, usability testing, concept generation, analyse and synthesise insights
  • Expertise in mobile design (iOS and Android), web and responsive design
  • Working knowledge of designing inclusively with a strong focus on applying digital accessibility in design
  • Confidence with a range of design tools including Figma and Adobe CC or other similar tools, whilst being open and adaptive to new trends and technologies
  • Highly proficient in project planning, communication, documentation and presentation, including an aptitude for convincing others of the value of your ideas
  • A fascination with how customers’ experience products and services and have a hunger to improve those experiences.
  • The ability to develop strong collaborative relationships - managing, influencing, and communicating effectively with partners at all levels
  • Great work ethic, proactive and positive mindset
