Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Delivery Lead – Data, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of data initiatives across ANZ’s Data & Analytics teams. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to help translate business needs into actionable plans and ensure projects stay on track.
This is a hybrid role, blending elements of project coordination and agile delivery. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of data initiatives and contribute to ANZ’s journey to become New Zealand’s leading data-driven organisation.
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to grow their career in data delivery, enjoys working collaboratively, and is passionate about using data to make a difference.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Standard)

You will be responsible for:
- Support the planning and delivery of data initiatives within the Data & Analytics team
- Help coordinate tasks, track progress, and maintain delivery backlogs
- Assist in identifying risks and issues, and support resolution efforts
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment
- Contribute to team ceremonies and agile practices
- Learn and apply ANZ’s Delivery Framework and standards
- Communicate updates and progress to team members and stakeholders

To thrive and excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:
- Experience in project coordination, agile delivery, or product support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Understanding of data and analytics concepts
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar
- Experience in a delivery, project, or data-related role
