ANZ is undergoing a significant multi-year technological transformation. At the heart of this transformation is the modernisation of the Core banking platform. We’re looking for a talented and visionary Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. This role is pivotal in shaping how ANZ leverages data to drive strategic outcomes, ensuring our solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise-wide architecture principles.

As a Solution Architect in our Enterprise Architecture team, you will:

Provide architectural stewardship and lead the data related design of end-to-end solutions that align with enterprise architecture principles and business strategy.

Advise delivery teams on balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic goals—ensuring solutions are both practical and future-proof.

Collaborate actively with stakeholders across business units, engineering teams, and external vendors to co-create robust, compliant, and scalable solutions

Ensure every solution is aligned with critical perspectives including security, risk management, and integration standards.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for data and a knack for simplifying complexity. You bring:
- Proven experience in solution architecture with a focus on data and analytics in medium to large enterprises, ideally in the banking sector.
- Expertise in domain-driven-design and architecture frameworks such as BIAN
- Deep understanding of modern data platforms and tools (e.g., GCP, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance principles.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of engaging diverse stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and passion to mentoring others in the architecture community.
