Mō te tūranga - About the role

As the Senior Manager – Funding and Liquidity Management within our Treasury team, you will play a critical role in ensuring ANZ NZ maintains robust and efficient funding and liquidity positions. You’ll be responsible for proactively managing the bank’s funding profile and liquidity position to meet both internal objectives and external regulatory requirements. Your leadership will help safeguard financial stability, support cost effective funding management and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory expectations.

As a Senior Manager – Funding and Liquidity Management , you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead short-term liquidity forecasting to meet regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute funding and liquidity strategies for ANZ
  • Manage intraday liquidity and end-of-day cash positions
  • Perform term funding execution and related hedging activities
  • Transact in financial markets to maintain ANZ’s liquidity profile
  • Oversee Treasury operations for ANZ Pacific
  • Provide modelling, analysis, and governance support for liquidity and funding activities
  • Deliver data insights for Treasury initiatives and projects

  • Proven experience working efficiently in Markets, DCM, or Treasury dealing environments, with strong product knowledge across both Markets and Treasury
  • Proven financial analytical skills and clear, confident communication
  • A reputation for reliability, accuracy, and composure under pressure
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence across teams
  • Sound judgement and agility in solving problems under time constraints
