Mō te tūranga - About the role
As the Senior Manager, Dot Loves Data, you'll play a pivotal role in helping ANZ unlock greater value from data to deliver better outcomes for our customers and the business. Reporting to the Program Lead, Personalisation, you'll lead ANZ's strategic partnership with Dot Loves Data, ensuring the platform continues to support our customer personalisation ambitions and deliver meaningful enterprise-wide impact.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, data, technology and commercial leadership.
You'll shape the direction and performance of the partnership, translating data capability into tangible business outcomes while building strong organisational adoption. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the bank, you'll champion effective governance, identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and help embed Dot Loves Data as a strategic capability across ANZ.

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?
Working across a broad range of stakeholders, you'll balance strategy, governance, commercial outcomes and partnership leadership to ensure Dot Loves Data continues to deliver value across ANZ.
Some of your day-to-day activities will include:
- Leading ANZ's strategy for Dot Loves Data, aligning priorities with customer, marketing and enterprise data objectives.
- Driving commercial outcomes by increasing adoption, maximising value realisation and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making, secure buy-in and embed data-led ways of working.
- Identifying and scaling high-impact use cases that deliver measurable business benefits and extend the value of the platform across ANZ.
- Providing oversight of key data, risk and compliance obligations, ensuring the responsible use of data and strong governance practices.
- Managing ANZ's partnership with Dot Loves Data, including strategic planning, vendor management, contractual agreements and investment priorities.
This is a highly visible role offering plenty of variety, influence and the opportunity to help shape ANZ's approach to data-driven decision-making. You'll be encouraged to bring fresh thinking, challenge the status quo and make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow your own capability and experience.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- A talent for connecting data to business priorities, using insights to influence stakeholders, shape thinking, and support strategic decision-making.
- Experience developing strategy and delivering results, balancing long-term vision with practical execution.
- Strong stakeholder leadership skills, with the confidence to influence and engage senior leaders across the bank.
- A solid understanding of data, analytics, customer insights or data-driven business models within a large or complex environment.
- A governance and risk mindset, with experience operating in regulated environments and balancing innovation with appropriate controls.
- The ability to lead through ambiguity and change, managing competing priorities while building alignment and momentum.
