We’re excited by the opportunity to deliver great visual communications and storytelling, and have an exciting role available for a highly competent Experience Designer with strong visual experience. You’ll take the lead in defining and creating beautiful experiences that delight our customers.

In this role you will…

 

  • Contribute and lead design projects, bringing your exceptional UX and visual design skills to the foreground by creating better experiences for our customers and staff
  • Work on strategic projects that create better experiences for our customers and staff – from creating concepts to prototyping design solutions, through to delivering outcomes
  • Run the entire end-to-end design process - guiding, planning and creating evidence-based solutions that deliver both customer and business value
  • Create engaging visual stories to communicate and connect with the audiences
  • Help ensure design output and solutions developed align to ANZ design standards
  • Advocate for inclusive design principles especially accessibility across design projects and initiatives
  • Craft and deliver design artefacts that are high quality, consistent, coherent and align with our digital design strategy and design systems
  • Champion, use and contribute to ANZ’s design system
  • Provide design advice, guidance and support to other designers and stakeholders to ensure best practice is applied
  • Advocate and champion design thinking by bringing customer insights and data to the decision table
  • Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to bring them along on the design journey with you

Now what about you?

 

You are an experienced UX/Visual designer, passionate about understanding customers’ needs and motivations, and creating delightful experiences that are human focused. You apply best practices in storytelling to ensure the design solutions you have created are engaging, compelling and evoke emotional responses.

 

Through your experience, you can demonstrate that you have:

 

  • A thorough understanding of the many facets of design and design thinking
  • 5-8 years’ experience undertaking and leading user experience and visual design activities
  • Strong knowledge in design system application and contribution
  • Strong expertise in user interface design, visual design, prototyping, interaction design, usability testing, concept generation, analyse and synthesise insights
  • Strong knowledge in storytelling with visual and data
  • Working knowledge of video editing, motion design and animation
  • Working knowledge of web and mobile technologies and standards
  • Working knowledge of designing inclusively with a strong focus on applying digital accessibility in design
  • Confidence with a range of design tools including Figma, Sketch, Axure and Adobe CC or other similar tools, whilst being open and adaptive to new trends and technologies
  • Highly proficient in project planning, communication, documentation and presentation, including an aptitude for convincing others of the value of their ideas
  • A fascination with how customers’ experience products and services and have a hunger to improve those experiences
  • The ability to develop strong collaborative relationships - managing, influencing, and communicating effectively with partners at all levels
  • Great work ethic, proactive and positive mindset
