As a Senior Business Analyst in ANZ’s Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting a portfolio of strategic, high-impact initiatives across the bank—with a strong emphasis on projects driven by regulatory requirements and compliance obligations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to elicit and document business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory standards. Your ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable insights will help drive successful project outcomes and deliver value to our customers.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you are accountable for:
- Leverage your deep expertise in business analysis to uncover insights, synthesize complex information, and navigate the broader organisational context with confidence.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to elicit clear, actionable requirements that align with business goals and deliver real value.
- Champion customer outcomes by partnering with project teams to embed regulatory and compliance frameworks into delivery—ensuring outputs not only meet expectations but also foster trust and deliver meaningful, compliant customer experiences.Build strong, trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders, communicating requirements with clarity and purpose.
- Support and mentor fellow Business Analysts, contributing to the growth and success of the wider team and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Bring energy and positivity, working collaboratively and proactively to support others and drive team success.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in business analysis, including eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements across business and technology teams.
- Deep banking industry expertise, with hands-on experience supporting projects focused on regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Strong grasp of project lifecycles and delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Proven success across diverse projects, from small initiatives to large-scale transformations.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with a natural ability to influence, collaborate, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, able to tackle complex problems independently while supporting and mentoring others in the team.
