Mō te tūranga | About the role
As a Senior Analyst – Front Office & Client Support, you are responsible for post trade lifecycle issue management and support (cancellations, amendments, options expiries etc.) on behalf of the Trading & Sales desk. You will be the key escalation contact for Global Markets Operations on all trade lifecycle issues and achieve remediation of these issues with Operations/Product Control/Business Execution. You will also participate in STP capabilities for the business and introduce process improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency and capabilities of the business and client experience.
In this role, you will drive development and review of new and existing trade capture booking models for new product implementation and the development of internal controls for trade capture models, mitigating operational risks through a proactive approach. You will handle documentation of procedures and controls across Front Office Support activities and co-ordination of UAT/Implementation of front office system migrations and developments.

As a Senior Analyst – Front Office & Client Support, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and resolving post-trade lifecycle issues for Markets’ Trading and Sales teams, including cancellations, amendments and other trade-related exceptions. Acting as the key escalation point for Markets and coordinating remediation with Operations, Market Risk, Product Control and Business Execution.
- Improving business efficiency and client experience by supporting straight-through processing capability and process improvement initiatives.
- Developing and reviewing trade capture booking models and controls to support new products, strengthen governance and reduce operational risk.
- Coordinate Front Office Support activities across NZ’s Markets and Treasury teams, including technology system user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementations, stakeholder reporting, and engagement with the Global Front Office Support team and local business stakeholders.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Knowledge of Financial Products.
- Experience in Financial Services is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to be flexible in your daily work to prioritise urgent requests and requirements.
- Proven effectiveness when working on an individual basis but also as part of a larger global team.
- Ability to build strong working relationships within and across business units to deliver effective outcomes.
- Strong customer service ethic, subject to maintaining internal controls.
- Experience working with front office booking system (i.e. Murex) as well as upstream trading platforms is desired, but not essential.
