Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) Analyst within ANZ’s Treasury team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and interpreting daily FTP results. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth review and analysis of FTP results, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and enhancing and strengthening FTP at ANZ. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Treasury, Market Risk, and the broader CFO function to drive continuous improvement in FTP processes, enhance analytical capabilities, and deliver deeper financial insights.

As a Funds Transfer Pricing Analyst, you will:

  • Take full ownership of FTP results and analysis, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery
  • Perform detailed business analysis and investigations to identify, understand, and resolve discrepancies
  • Lead process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support timely, accurate reporting
  • Collaborate effectively with the Senior Manager – FTP, as well as stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Institutional Markets, and Finance
  • Provide robust FTP reporting and insights to support Finance and Product Management teams in strategic decision-making

  • A foundational understanding of banking concepts and financial instruments, or a strong interest in learning about them
  • A naturally inquisitive mindset and a passion for working with data to uncover insights
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Excel and SQL — or a willingness to build proficiency in them
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • A growth mindset and eagerness to learn from others and take on new challenges
  • A collaborative spirit — someone who values teamwork, takes ownership, and contributes to shared success
  • Experience working in treasury, market risk, finance, risk management or related field would be beneficial
