About the Role

 

As the Payments and Cash Management (PCM) Officer, you are responsible for supporting the PCM area in delivering both domestic and international payments submitted by customers through various channels, ensuring timely and accurate processing. The PCM Officer collaborates with other business units and stakeholders to maintain a high standard of service for our customers, while adhering to ANZ processes and policies. This approach ensures operational excellence and minimises potential risks to ANZ on a daily basis.

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time 


 

What will your day look like?

 

The responsibilities include:

 

  • Processing domestic and international payments
  • Ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with bank policies and procedures
  • Reconciling and processing all inward and outward payments within the appropriate time frames
  • Providing required returns and data accurately and on schedule
  • Delivering internal and external customer service consistent with ANZ strategies, and offering advice or guidance to customers as needed
  • Reviewing and developing processes by eliminating unnecessary steps and maintaining a detailed understanding of business and financial requirements

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Knowledge on domestic/international inward and outward payments
  • Experience in reconciliation and register and deliver payments with more efficiency
  • Proven internal and external case investigation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
