About the Role
As a Financial Analyst, you are responsible in maintaining accurate financial records and robust reporting processes and provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information.
You will also be responsible with the following:
- Ensure daily Regulatory and internal reports are completed and submitted on time including Regulatory reserves and Depositor Protection Fund.
- Complete month end tasks including onshore recurring and ad hoc journal entries, balance sheets account reconciliation, intercompany processing, fixed assets and leases management.
- Assist Finance Manager to complete month end, quarter end and year end regulatory reports.
- Assist the Team to complete tax audits, external audit and other ad hoc audits from the Regulators.
- Support CFO and EXCO members in providing financial information.
- Foster relationship with Regulators, other business partners and customers.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in accounting and finance environment.
- General understanding of the financial services industry and where ANZ is positioned in the market.
- Excellent written and oral communication, planning, problem solving and organising skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and applications with intermediate level excel skills.
- Ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect and apply solutions.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting field.
