About the Role
As a Senior Officer- Transaction Management in our Institutional Operations team you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless processing and reconciliation of complex and high-value loan and trade transactions. As a key checker for transactions, the role is responsible for enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and bank requirements.
The role is dedicated to delivering exceptional service quality by meeting and exceeding service-level expectations while investigating and resolving discrepancies in internal records. It focuses on optimizing Asset Operations processes, developing innovative and effective operational methods, and preparing products and customer requirements for operational readiness.
Additionally, the role serves as a subject matter expert, offering valuable insights from an operations perspective to Relationship Managers (RM), Transaction Banking (TB) Sales teams, and customers. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to business priorities and drive excellence in operational execution.

What will your day look like?
As a As a Senior Officer- Transaction Management you will;
- Manage end-to-end processing of high-value loan and trade transactions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Act as a checker for complex transactions while adhering strictly to company policies and regulations for all manual instruction transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis to maintain accurate financial records.
- Respond to inquiries with up-to-date information, ensuring customer correspondence is clear, timely, and resolved to their satisfaction.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and shared success.
- Monitor SLA progress to ensure requests and transactions are handled with high quality and on time.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and training to junior analysts to improve productivity and address potential skill gaps.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, propose solutions, and implement changes that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Support cost-related management decisions and contribute to business-driven initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert to assist Relationship Managers (RM), Transaction Banking (TB) Sales teams, and customers from an operations perspective.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in processing loan or trade transactions.
- High accuracy, especially under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Solid computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication in Chinese and English to effectively interact with multilingual customers.
- Understanding and alertness in identifying and mitigating risks.
