About the Role
As a Director, Transaction Banking Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Transaction Banking franchise in Taiwan by expanding existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities across Payments & Cash Management (PCM) and Trade & Supply Chain (TSC) solutions.
You will be responsible for delivering sustainable revenue growth, optimizing returns, and strengthening ANZ's position as a trusted banking partner for large Taiwanese corporates and multinational clients. Working closely with Relationship Teams, Product Partners, and stakeholders across ANZ's global network, you will provide strategic transaction banking solutions that support our clients' evolving business needs.

What will your day look like?
As a Director, Transaction Banking Sales, you will:
- Drive new client acquisition and grow existing PCM and TSC business in line with ANZ and Transaction Banking strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to enhance revenue generation and profitability across the Institutional client portfolio.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, Segment Heads, and Transaction Banking leadership on account planning, wallet sizing, and opportunity identification.
- Deliver exceptional client outcomes through coordinated engagement with Sales, Product, Operations, Implementation, and other key stakeholders.
- Contribute to overall Transaction Banking revenue through proactive identification and execution of "throw and catch" opportunities across the ANZ network.
- Evaluate Trade & Supply Chain financing opportunities and provide timely, high-quality analysis in accordance with Transaction Banking product guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong risk awareness by identifying, escalating, investigating, and helping remediate financial and non-financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and Transaction Banking product standards.
- Support effective risk management practices, including the reduction of non-lending losses through prompt escalation and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, industry developments, and client needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Product and Implementation teams to support the successful delivery of bespoke client solutions and internal platform migration initiatives.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking and/or Relationship Management, with strong expertise in Payments & Cash Management (PCM) and Trade & Supply Chain (TSC) solutions.
- Proven track record in originating, developing, and growing Transaction Banking business through new client acquisition and portfolio expansion.
- Strong understanding of working capital solutions, trade finance, liquidity management, and cash management products.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct financial and working capital analysis and structure client-centric transaction banking solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, build robust pipelines, and deliver sustainable revenue growth with accretive returns.
- Deep knowledge of large Taiwanese corporates, multinational corporations (MNCs), and the local and banking landscape.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across clients, products, coverage teams, operations, and regional partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment in evaluating opportunities, risks, and client needs.
- Proven ability to manage risk effectively, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and Transaction Banking product guidelines.
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to lead initiatives, navigate complex client situations, and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders and internal decision-makers.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to support engagement with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders, with the ability to operate effectively in a cross-border and multicultural environment.
