As an Infrastructure Operations Manager in our Tech Institutional Digital Banking Operations Domain you’ll play a key role in helping to overseeing and directing the day-to-day activities of Taiwan based IT infrastructure, ensuring the effective implementation and coordination of various projects.  To ensure provision and operation infrastructure platforms which are stable, cost effective and meet ANZ business requirements.

What will your day look like

 

As an Infrastructure Operations Manager, you will:

 

  • The major responsibility of this role is on Taiwan infrastructure management, including manage and monitor the in-country technology infrastructure services including servers, network, telephony, and end user computers management.

  • Ensure infrastructure assets are lifecycle managed with investment planned to minimise business risk.

  • Contribute to strengthening business partnerships and service delivery

  • This role is also responsible in managing 7 MS resources that supports in-country infrastructure works as well as all Taiwan IT contracts management.

  • Identify and Implement processes that will lead to more efficient service delivery

  • Ensures organisational objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively through people management and resource planning priorities

  • Lead change management and risk management, identifying appropriate resources and developing schedules to ensure timely project completion.

  • This role is also required to attend/support Intra-Group Outsourcing activities including CDIS/EE monthly meeting, review Group indirect costs annually to ensure the service leave and cost from the Group is justified as per local regulation.

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Infrastructure and data center support management experience in supporting medium/large mission critical environments

  • Has excellent understanding of the Incident and Problem Management processes and string experience working with the ITIL process - understanding of policy, planning, and strategy.

  • Familiar with AWS/GCP and Microsoft Cloud technology as we are migrating most of the applications to AWS/GCP Cloud and staffs are using Microsoft 365 cloud services.

  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders at varying levels - from senior managers to operations staff

  • Demonstrated customer service focus and professional work ethic and proven good track record of excellent client and vendor management skills    

  • Experience managing a service support team and project management

  • Strong organization/leadership skills and results-oriented.

  • Fluency in Chinese and English is essential.
