As a senior audit manager, you will bring to life Internal Audit’s value proposition by partnering with the business to provide independent assurance, challenge and insights while anticipating emerging and future changes to the risk and control environment across the Institutional Division’s Transaction Banking and Banking Services areas.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive experience in and understanding of key risk management frameworks and principles, including operational risk and compliance, delivery risk, and product management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of, and deep interest in, the Institutional business – particularly Trade & Supply Chain and Transaction Banking / Payments, including related credit principles, systems and products.
  • Track record of building, developing, and maintaining effective, trusting relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to build strong networks and demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as listening and interpreting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated passion for new ideas, and experience in advocating and overcoming resistance to change.
  • Tertiary qualified, ideally with Professional (CPA/CA) and / or Post Graduate qualifications with technically relevant skillset.
  • Data analytics and digital/automation skills and experience would be a significant plus.
