About the Role
As a Trade Documentation Officer your role is to ensure all activities relating to Trade Paper Documentation (receipt, coordination, scanning, indexing and required follow up) support superior relationship, customer outcomes and Trade transaction processing. All paper documentation activities that support internal and external customers will be processed (handled, scanned and indexed) within agreed turnaround times, with required Non-Financial Risk and compliance parameters well managed. The incumbent will interact with both internal and external customers ensuring timely and accurate processing of Trade Documentation activities ensuring appropriate sanctions, credit and operational risk assessment in adherence to ANZ Bank policy.
Role location is in each AU state where paper documents are received (hard or soft copy) from Customers or bankers.

What will your day look like?
As a Trade Documentation Officer, you are accountable for:
- Ensuring trade documentation management handling is efficient and in line with agreed customer delivery expectations.
- Activities may include (but are not limited to):
- Splitting, Scanning documents and Indexing Work Items onto Trade 360
- Providing necessary information for document processing
- Monitoring of transactions, ensuring adherence to standard and customer-specific service level agreements (SLA)
- Ensuring all items are complete and attached to associated request record
- Printing and Execution of guarantees, as per documented process
- Organising guarantee swaps as required
- Ensure the effective and appropriate use of (agreed) external courier for trade document delivery.
- Ensure accurate paper documentation activities by complying with bank policies, procedures (including Trade Sanctions) and regulatory requirements and adhering to loss control procedures. Effective queue management in Trade 360 and timely and accurate handling of transactions between Spoke and Hub.

- Good organisational skills
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work within short timeframes to manage customer demands
- Customer Service – ability to interpret customer requirements (from documents/requests received)
- Basic understanding of Trade and Supply Chain Products (desirable but not essential)
