As a Senior Relationship Manager, Property, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our property portfolio by strategically managing high-value relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading innovative solutions. What will your day look like?

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be: 

• Actively engaging with clients to understand their complex business and financial needs, offering tailored, strategic banking solutions to drive growth and success.
• Leading efforts to expand the property portfolio through strategic customer acquisition, cross-selling opportunities, and cultivating high-quality referrals.
• Partnering with internal product specialists and key stakeholders to craft and execute innovative, complex deals that align with client needs and business goals.
• Building and nurturing a robust external network, fostering long-term relationships that contribute to portfolio origination.
• Leading and mentoring a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous growth and high engagement. Develop your direct reports to help them reach their full potential.
• Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with internal teams across Risk, Product, and other business units to deliver comprehensive solutions for your clients.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:  

• Industry experience and the ability to build long-term client relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes 
• Customer solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs, identifying financial opportunities and recommending relevant banking products and services
• Portfolio management: balance change initiatives and business‐as‐usual while optimising return on investment.
• Ability to negotiate and structure complex and customised banking deals. 
• Credit Assessment & Management: capability to assess and monitoring credit risk, and drive credit approval activities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management principles and how to mitigate risks 
• Coaching: Experience in leading teams, and ability to help people move from where they are to where they want to be through the use of effective coaching techniques
