About the Role

 

As the Senior PMO Manager on the PACT Program, you’ll play a key role to contribute to providing governance, oversight, controls and consolidated reporting activities across the Program, that supports the consistent implementation and sustainably embedment of NFR management practices that deliver holistic customer, risk, and business outcomes. 

Contribute to maintaining a proactive culture where risk management is integral to our ways of working together with disciplined execution by providing sound governance, controls, workable processes & tools, as well as timely & reliable reporting.

 

Role Type: 12M Secondment/Fixed-Term Contract
Role Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Work Hours: Full-Time

What will your day look like?

 

  • Working with the Head of PMO and team, in the provision of PMO services
  • Ensure appropriate governance and controls are in place to track and report overall program status, key milestones, issues, risks, changes, inter-dependencies as well as key outcomes (where applicable).
  • Prepare consolidated Program Status Reports for inclusion in Executive Governance forums and Board materials 
  • Develop and operationalise Program Outcome Measure reporting, providing quarterly insights across Group and Divisional key metrics to Executives and Board to demonstrate progress to target states
  • Ensure data quality and availability of information is optimised for reporting & decision-making purposes
  • Maintain mechanisms & controls to actively manage, maintain and report on program:
    • Risks, Assumptions, Issues and dependencies (RAID) as well as Change Control management Actions & Decisions
      • Identify and escalate risks and issues with the potential to impact on the delivery of project activities or program plans
    • Deliverable performance and sign off
    • Program metrics and Outcome Measures 
  • Co-ordinate program meetings together with agendas, pre-meeting material, minutes, track attendance, monitoring and reporting on actions
  • Actively identify, track and address potential slippage to key deliverables, issues, risks, changes, cost overruns and dependencies together with respective team members to address

What will you bring?

 

  • 10+ years program / project experience
  • Strong PMO skills with accompanying accreditation / qualification or commensurate experience i.e 10 years in program and project management in a transformation / Enforceable Undertaking setting within large organisations.
  • Experienced in creating / maintaining / enhancing program / project management frameworks, governance, methodologies, tools and templates
  • Strong communications and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to work in a high-performance culture, with a strong desire to work at pace.
  • Strong outcome / results focus with a continuous improvement skill set.
  • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
