About the role

  • A highly regarded opportunity with a focus on the Family Office client segment located in Sydney.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Family Office Clients, Relationship Management, Credit Risk as well as Partners across Business Bank, Corporate Bank and Institutional to ensure understanding of business needs and product solutions, engaging internal stakeholders to lead the delivery of customer solutions across both commercial and retail lending.
  • Applying credit / risk assessment skills and well developed deal structuring capabilities, you will execute complex transactions jointly with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk to support delivery of customer solutions across Commercial Property, Residential Property and other Financial Asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Funds).

 

As a Senior Lending Advisory Manager, you will work directly with Family Office Clients, Credit Stakeholders and Relationship Management to look after structuring, negotiation, and executing client lending transactions for wholesale and complex retail deals and ensure an optimal and ‘well managed’ portfolio. You will also be responsible in coaching and developing of Lending Advisors and Specialists.

What will your day look like

Specifically, the role is responsible for:

  • Customer – Exceptional Client Experience and Client Satisfaction as it relates to lending needs and solutions on an end to end basis.
  • People – Supporting a diverse, engaged & high performing skilled team, seamlessly collaborating and supporting frontline bankers across functions, sponsoring deals through credit risk to ensure the identified risks are mitigated and credits fall within the Bank’s risk appetite
  • Risk – Owning the end to end execution of lending transaction, diligently exercise CAD, ensuring no CAD breaches, sound lending judgement/decisions, adhering to policies procedures and principles.
  • Reputation – Embedding a risk culture where best interests of the client and the bank are in line with community expectations
  • Financial – Delivery of risk which balances business, customer and regulatory requirements
