About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting customer remediation across the bank. This role focuses on understanding business processes, assessing customer impact, root cause analysis identification and ensuring the remediation solutions meet both customer and regulatory expectations. You will work closely with risk, compliance, and other business stakeholders to support the delivery of remediation plans. 

We are looking for a Senor Business Analyst with excellent communication skills. You will be confident in engaging with stakeholders, understanding customer impacts, and supporting the execution of business led solutions. 

Role Type: 12-month Fixed Term contract
Role Location:  Brisbane QLD or Sydney NSW
Work Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Collaborate with business, risk, and compliance teams to support remediation activities.
• Identify and assess customer impacts and support development of appropriate remediation approaches.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues. 
• Develop clear business documentation, including requirements, process flows and customer impact summaries.
• Ensure alignment with business and regulatory expectations throughout the remediation lifecycle.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with a strong focus on business processes and remediation activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to operate in a fast paced, changing environment with minimal guidance.
• Financial services experience (desired)
• Understanding of cohort analysis, customer impact assessment, root cause identification and remediation planning (highly desired)
• Experience working within agile methodologies.
