About the Role

The role of the Expert, Accountability & Insights, is to provide project management support and orchestrate matters relating to accountability matters received from the relevant Divisional Accountability Group (DAG) to the Accountability & Insights team. This role ensures that accountability reviews are conducted in compliance with risk management framework requirements, in a timely manner, and supports fair and consistent application of accountability measures. Additionally, the Expert contributes to the consolidation of insights from reviews, the development of case studies and other knowledge-sharing materials, and the effective dissemination of these learnings across the organisation.

Role Location: Sydney or Melbourne
Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week

What will your day look like?

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Accountability & Insights team including workflow/matter management
  • Coordinating matter reviews by the Accountability & Insights team, including engaging with relevant stakeholders, setting up transparent fact-finding sessions, and consolidating insights and findings from review of matters (e.g., case studies)
  • Supporting governance and other defined processes; reviewing and updating processes for the Accountability & Insights team where required in line with the governance framework
  • Engaging with relevant business areas to collate information (including details on matters referred) and diagnose capability gaps
  • Developing implementation plans for capability uplift solutions

What will you bring?

  • Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner
  • Judgement, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of risk management systems
  • Business change management experience
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Business report writing experience, including clearly articulating findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a way that is clear and actionable
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
