About the Role
As an Executive Director, TSC Sales Corporate & Business & Private Bank (B&PB) in our Institutional, Transaction Banking Sales AU team, you’ll play a key role in leading the strategic growth and execution of TSC solutions across both the Corporate Banking Segment and the Business & Private Banking Segments nationally. This role will be responsible for driving profitability, strengthening customer and business returns, deepening client relationships, and ensuring a well-managed portfolio.

What will your day look like?
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Develop and execute the national TSC strategy for the Corporate and B&PB segment in AU, with a specific focus on leveraging ANZ’s product and development team to deliver excellent and sustainable business results.
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders to align with Corporate Banking and importantly Business & Private Bank strategies with broader Institutional and Coverage goals
- Represent the TSC business at Institutional Corporate Coverage Leadership Team, and the B&PB Business. Working closely with executives and coverage stakeholders to ensure our TSC solutions continue to support the customer segments for growth
- Lead client origination efforts, ensuring TSC’s active participation in Corporate Pods/B&PB pipeline meetings as relevant. This also includes concise account planning and review process, in collaboration with Product partners and Coverage colleagues.
- Drive industry and customer centric solutions and propositions within our Australian markets with a strong focus on cross-sell
- Monitor and drive pipeline opportunities within the segment to deliver strong revenue growth, Rev/RWA targets and ROE
- Monitor and manage capital allocation and RWA efficiency.
- Proactive engagement with internal and external experts, to gain insights to continuously modify and enhance the TSC proposition in response to changing market trends.
- Strong engagement with product, wholesale digital and technology to deliver agreed solutions aligned to the customer needs of segments
- Champion digital first and customer centric approaches to enhance competitiveness
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing sales team, fostering collaborating, diversity, innovation and accountability at a national level/across geographically dispersed team
- Upholding ANZ standards in risk and compliance to ensure a well-managed business, embedding strong governance across trade and supply chain transactions
- Role modelling and promoting ANZ values, New Ways of Leading and our aspirational culture and leading the team to do the same.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strategic thinking and deep banking experience with a deep understanding of Trade & Supply Chain products, contemporary customer needs and credit and operational risk considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and consider the needs of an industry/customer segment, adapting those to identified opportunities for business growth – long-term industry vision and innovation
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of leading and influencing teams to deliver results and a reputation for coaching, encouraging curiosity and people development.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, collaboration and the ability to manage relationships across the enterprise.
- An ability to manage change, ambiguity and complexity to create shared clarity.
- Experience with large / complex Institutional customers
- Deep understanding of the Corporate and/or Business & Private Bank segment
- Experience in Transaction Banking sales or some subject matter expertise in Trade & Supply Chain
- Breadth of experience across different disciplines or scenarios
