About the Role


This role will support the Divisional Governance & Reporting Assurance Team Lead with reporting requirements and provide meaningful information, reporting and insights to help inform business decisions and uplift Non-Financial Risk and the Control environment. This role also supports the Divisional Assurance Lead in managing non-financial Risk across the portfolio. As a Divisional Governance & Reporting Assurance Manager, you will provide meaningful information and insights to help inform business decisions in order to meet compliance & regulatory requirements. This is done by bringing technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of data, analysing patterns and trends and transforming it into consumable reports for stakeholders. You will also support the business to manage end to end risk accountabilities.

What will your day look like?

 

The role is accountable for:

 

  • Analysed NFR data to generate insights and support governance reporting
  • Validated data quality and ensured compliance with policies and regulations
  • Monitored and improved data quality within the NFR Hub for Retail Division
  • Produced and presented NFR insights to divisional and group committees
  • Collaborated to reduce risk exposure and strengthen control frameworks
  • Standardised reporting across RMFs and developed supporting tools/models
  • Supported key initiatives (PACT, ASIC Matters, Single Customer Front End, Suncorp Bank Integration) and regulatory attestations (ACL, CPS220)
  • Assisted with ASIC Responsible Manager oversight and provided risk advisory support

 

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Quality Assurance - Ensuring the quality and viability of working solutions through quality practices and rigorous testing with a customer centric focus
  • Proficiency in risk management and data insight visualisation tools, including ServiceNow (NFR Hub), Qlikview, Excel etc
  • Ability to translate quantitative & qualitative information and relay insights through narratives & visual means
  • Able to define, plan and execute testing of data quality as required to support NFR related initiatives and Group deliverables
  • Proven ability to work with large data sets
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present to all stakeholders (translate technical into non-technical and vice-versa)
  • Experience identifying, analysing and resolving data quality issues 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Business analysis
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships across the value chain through a collaborative approach
