About the Role
The Director Institutional Rates Sales will help drive the execution, origination and structuring of interest rate risk management solutions for key clients across Australia. You will provide exceptional customer service through your knowledge of the Australian market and customer base and support the overall Institutional Rates Sales team to achieve their strategic priorities.

What will your day look like?
- Achieve Australian Institutional Rates sales achieve Australian Institutional Rates Sales revenue and return targets
- Actively promote cross-sell and increase the number of Markets products distributed into the existing client base
- Manage the full transaction cycle from origination, pricing and execution through to settlement
- With a deep knowledge of the Institutional and Corporate client base, maintain and grow ANZ’s relevance with existing portfolio of clients, as well as drive acquisition of targeted clients
- Provide thought leadership in rates solutions and market dynamics
- Work and connect with Relationship and product partners to ensure comprehensive understanding and management of the client portfolio and identify relevant wallet opportunities
- Keep abreast of market dynamics and offer risk management solutions to meet clients’ needs
- Alignment and adherence with Markets governance policies, processes and standards and with external regulatory requirements
- Meet Risk programme deliverables including front office supervisory practices, required code of conduct, benchmarks etc.

- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, influence and collaborate with cross functional teams and across the ANZ network
- Significant Market sales experience, with a customer focus
- Shares knowledge and experience to grow people selflessly
- Proven ability to use customer insight to develop acquisition opportunities, deepen customer relationships and anticipate future customer needs
