About the Role
The Securitisation Middle Office team is responsible for the ongoing management of securitisation facilities, including warehouse debt facilities, capital markets issuance and Trust Management of the AU & NZ Group Treasury Secured Funding programmes, including Kingfisher and Covered Bonds.
The Markets Securitisation Business Analyst will support the migration of Suncorp’s securitisation facilities to ANZ by helping manage ANZ’s existing portfolio to maintain business continuity. Working with ANZ and Suncorp stakeholders, the role will support delivery schedules, testing and documentation of current- and future-state processes to ensure Day 1 readiness and delivery of the post-integration target state.

What will your day look like?
As Business Analyst, Markets Securitisation you will:
Financial
- Support integration and change initiatives that contribute to the successful transition of Suncorp securitisation facilities into ANZ's operating model.
Customer
- Support management of the existing securitisation portfolio throughout the integration.
- Managing initial funding/ issuance establishment of warehouses and term transactions.
Process
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing and business readiness activities.
- Support Coordinate project deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues and action items to support successful programme execution.
- Assist with change transition planning, operational readiness assessments and implementation activities to support Day 1 readiness and post-migration target state.
- Coordinating the initial establishment of warehouses and term transactions.
- Liaising with external clients to receive required data and reports, to perform verification checks on portfolio parameters and eligibility criteria.
- Review of reports and notices prepared by the STS Senior Analyst, to facilitate funding and payments for Warehouses.
- Reviewing of internal and external reports i.e. portfolio reporting of securitisation facilities, Trust Performance Reporting, exposure reporting and limits.
- Supporting the Portfolio Management team by contributing to the preparation of credit memorandums and the monthly capital process.
- Complete tasks accurately and within agreed timeframes, ensuring appropriate controls, documentation and governance requirements are met.
People
- Build knowledge and capability across securitisation products, trust management, integration activities and operational processes.
- Work collaboratively with ANZ and Suncorp teams during the integration programme.
Risk / Compliance / Behaviour
- Support the identification, assessment and management of integration-related risks, issues and dependencies.
- Assist the Head of Securitisation Trade Services in reviewing processes, procedures and controls to ensure ongoing compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Adhere to all ANZ policies, regulatory obligations, risk frameworks and governance requirements.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and audit trails are maintained for all project and business-as-usual activities.
What will you bring?
Critical skill, knowledge & experience required for this role:
- Experience in Securitisation Trust Management is strongly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business functions.
- Experience facilitating documenting and developing process documentation.
- Experience within banking, financial markets, securitisation is strongly preferred.
Desirable, but not mandatory skills, knowledge and experience required for this role:
- Tertiary qualifications (completed or in progress) are desirable in a relevant discipline.
- Background in the banking/financial services industry, with previous exposure to treasury, markets and securitisation.
- Thorough understanding and experience in funds flow and settlement frameworks within the Financial Markets
