About the Role

The Associate, Institutional FX Sales will provide foreign exchange solutions to Australia’s largest corporations. The role will be jointly responsible for an existing portfolio of clients while also looking to grow market share. The role will also support the development of a data driven approach to customer engagement and workflow efficiencies.

You will support the senior sales team by managing the inflow of standard deals and queries that the desk receives, escalating complicated or higher risk transactions.

What will your day look like?

• Deliver revenue targets for shared client portfolios and the Institutional FX team.
• Manage end‑to‑end trade processes including pricing, credit checks and deal input.
• Jointly manage an existing client portfolio using data‑driven insights to enhance engagement.
• Support daily Institutional FX processes such as pitch packs, payments, market commentary and deal entries.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Build strong collaborative relationships across Institutional Sales, Australia Franchise and key stakeholders.
• Create learning opportunities to deepen product and customer knowledge.
• Adhere to Markets suitability frameworks, governance standards, regulatory requirements and ANZ.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

• 12 months+ FX markets experience, with a customer focus
• Proven ability to identify customer opportunities, build relationships and provide effective solutions
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, influence and collaborate with cross functional teams and across the ANZ network
• Demonstrated ability to analyse, understand and respond to client needs through active use of data
• A desire to share knowledge and experience for the benefit of the team
• Ability to adapt future approach based on previous experience, mistakes and developmental feedback
