About the Role
This role is responsible for providing support for relationship bankers through the completion of key business activities. They are primarily responsible for supporting Relationship Bankers in growing new and existing customer revenue by conducting financial analysis and credit strategy recommendations for designated customer groups.

What will your day look like?
As an assistant manager, you will be supporting your Relationship Manager and play a key role in delivering standout customer experiences by:
- Analysing financials and lending transactions.
- Building deep, meaningful relationships through a strong understanding of each customer’s business and financial needs
- Always acting in the customer’s best interests, using a truly customer‑centric approach
- Providing smart, tailored solutions for account maintenance and evolving customer needs
- Managing a well‑structured portfolio in line with all policies and procedures
- Keeping workflows running smoothly across compliance and customer fulfilment processes
- Collaborating closely with product partners and stakeholders to deliver great outcomes
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Great financial literacy, analytical skills, commercial and business acumen,
• Strong analytical ability to assess and interpret implications of financial trends,
• Prior experience in developing strong relationships in a customer delivery/ customer experience role,
• Sound understanding of the structuring of security arrangements,
• Experience in the banking industry is an advantage, but not a requirement, and
• Preferably possesses an accounting or finance degree or equivalent, though not a strict requirement.
