Diversified Industries is a relationship banking business which provides tailored financing solutions to customers throughout Australia with debt sizes typically between $10m and $35m.
The business provides a specialist relationship team, who have an in-depth knowledge of the financing requirements of middle market customers – specifically working capital, debt structuring, acquisition finance, cash management, asset finance and import/export operations. Diversified Industries specialise in providing financial and capital management solutions to primarily privately owned businesses that operate in a number of diversified industries including Business Services, Manufacturing, Retail & Wholesale, Transport & Logistics, Tourism, Hospitality and Education.
As an Assistant Manager your role is to partner with the Relationship Manager to support your portfolio in all aspects of customer service, compliance, processes, systems, and governance.

Work Hours: 40 Hours (Full-time)
What will your day look like?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Prior experience in a commercial banking frontline roles and commercial lending
- Ability to help manage strong customer relationships by handling service queries and solving minor issues
- Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively
- Attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
- Ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communications
- Familiarity with risk management concepts, particularly in credit risk, risk and market risk
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as KYC (Know your Customer) and AML (anti- money laundering).
- Preference for Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Economics, Accounting, Ag Science/Economics
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Great financial literacy, analytical skills, commercial and business acumen,
• Strong analytical ability to assess and interpret implications of financial trends,
• Prior experience in developing strong relationships in a customer delivery/ customer experience role,
• Sound understanding of the structuring of security arrangements,
• Experience in the banking industry is an advantage, but not a requirement, and
• Preferably possesses an accounting or finance degree or equivalent, though not a strict requirement.
