About the Role

 

The ANZ Markets business has products distributed globally across multiple jurisdictions and entities. Global Markets asset classes consist of FX, Rates and Credit, Global Capital Markets, Commodities and Structured Products. 

As an Experience Designer in Front Office Support, you will be responsible to support the Global Markets Business in enhancing manual workflows by applying your VBA skills creating digital automated workflows building new tools and enhancing existing tools crucial to ANZ in its drive for automation and efficiency.

This is a 9 month contract role designed to support a strategic end-to-end solution. You will support the development, testing, and enhancement of the external stakeholder reporting application.

What will your day look like?

 

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Proficiency in VBA is a must for automating processes and developing customised solutions within Microsoft Office applications including VBA scripts for advanced data processing and reporting solutions.
  • Lead the design and creation of interactive reports and dashboards, delivering actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. 
  • Lead the adoption of advanced analytics and AI initiatives, integrating AI and generative AI to enhance data analysis capabilities and support strategic decisions
  • Ability to effectively manage own time, whilst ensuring consistent quality output. 
  • Participates effectively in data, technical and business discussions, across different audiences
  • Act as a SME for business in the application of data analysis activities.

What will you bring?

 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Working knowledge of different asset classes, Foreign Exchange and/or Rates & Credit/ Bonds and Repos will be an advantage.
  • Experience in data analysis, business analysis, and solution design/implementation. 
  • Knowledge of Python; SQL fundamentals, basic AWS usage: would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge in agile methodology and software, including JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with major projects and a background in banking or financial services is preferred. 
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or other related qualification
