About the Role

 

The Senior Analyst, Markets NFR Reporting reports into the Senior Associate, Markets NFR Reporting (part of Markets NFR team). The Senior Analyst, Markets NFR Reporting will work closely with Markets NFR Reporting Team and key Enablement functions to manage and deliver centralised reporting for the various risk forums within Markets, as well as the other key reporting activities relating to Conduct Risk.

What will your day look like?

The Senior Analyst, Markets NFR Reporting will support the Markets NFR Reporting in:

 

•    Coordinating the collection, clean up and validation of data required for the reporting activities handled by the Markets NFR Reporting Team, including Governance Risk Forum reporting and Front Office Supervisory dashboard.
•    Deliver tools to simplify the reporting process and shorten turnaround times, and enable trend analysis and data insights across products and key geographies,
•    Maintain ongoing monitoring of key risk and business metrics and escalate issues in a timely manner.
•    Support Markets NFR in process improvement and NFR uplift initiatives.
•    Performing exploratory data analysis and provide stakeholders with greater NFR insights and thematics.

 

Key stakeholders to this role include the Markets NFR, Product Managers and Business Execution, Local Assurance and Enablement functions to ensure risk reports are delivered in a timely, accurate and consistent manner to facilitate discussion of risk issues during the risk forums.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

•    Experience in NFR Hub, QlikSense or other forms of data visualisation is advantageous.
•    Basic understanding and knowledge of the Financial Markets and the environment that ANZ Markets operates in.
•    Advanced skills of Excel and PowerPoint, and good ability in developing analytical tools through desktop application (eg. Excel).
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders 
•    Is a team player who recognizes and values the different perspectives and skills of their colleagues, and able to work effectively together with the team to contribute to the successful delivery of the team’s objectives.
•    Attention to detail and strong ability to manage multiple and tight deadlines in a calm manner.
•    Strong control and governance mindset.
•    Identify opportunities for continuous business process improvement and support implementation of effective solutions.
•    Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel).
•    Familiarity with automation technologies (RPA, scripting languages).
•    Continuously challenges the status quo by questioning and challenging processes and procedures
