About the Role
The Associate Director, Institutional FX Sales will provide foreign exchange solutions to Australia’s largest corporations. The role will be responsible for an existing portfolio of clients while also looking to grow market share and new business opportunities. The role will also support the development of a data driven approach to customer engagement and workflow efficiencies.
You will support the senior sales team by managing the inflow of standard deals and queries that the desk receives, escalating complicated or higher risk transactions, and identifying opportunities to provide structured solutions to clients where applicable.

What will your day look like?
- Deliver revenue targets for Institutional FX Sales and assigned client portfolio.
- Manage end‑to‑end trade life cycle, including pricing, credit checks and deal input.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and new Institutional FX clients using data‑driven insights.
- Source new business and new‑to‑bank client opportunities.
- Support daily team processes such as pitch packs, payments, market commentary and deal entries.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Institutional Sales, product teams and key stakeholders.
- Adhere to suitability, governance, conduct and regulatory requirements while role‑modelling ANZ values.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- 3 years+ FX markets dealing experience, with a customer focus
- Proven ability to identify customers opportunities, build relationships and provide effective solutions
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, influence and collaborate with cross functional teams and across the ANZ network
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, understand and respond to client needs through active use of data
- A desire to share knowledge and experience for the benefit of the team
- Ability to adapt future approach based on previous experience, mistakes and developmental feedback
