About the Role

The Merchant Manager is focused on leading a small team who serve all acquiring Merchants using EFTPOS, E-Gate (Business) Internet Banking and Pacific App and all digital channels.

The role is primarily responsible to:

  • Provide face to face and over the phone market leading digital services that meets the needs of Business customers, including an effective payment process for their customers;

  • Work collaboratively with Business and Commercial Teams for Fiji domiciled customers to provide their customers electronic solutions;

  • Utilise and promote digital communication and banking options, whilst actively driving the use of digital solutions; and

  • Ensure merchant acquiring staff who report directly acquire and maintain a level of banking knowledge that enables them to deliver the required customer experience, remain operationally sound;

  • Proven leadership skills and experience in Channel Management across digital, acquiring channels;

  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a focus on constant improvement of the customers banking experience

  • Strong strategic, analytic, and project management skills;

  • Strong focus on continuous innovation and ongoing improvement in customer experience via digital channels;

  • Demonstrated ability to execute strategy successfully;

  • Strong focus on delivery of a consistent high quality service to our customer and proactively manage any customer issues or complaints.
