About the Role

As a Governance Specialist in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to support the Digital Employee Experience. This role is responsible for delivering the Governance Framework, supporting audit and risk management activities and producing reporting for internal stakeholders in order to protect ANZ from risk that is caused by inadequate or failed internal processes, people and systems or from external events. You will work closely with Digital Employee Experience stakeholders and wider Talent and Culture as a trusted advisor

Role Location: The role can be based in various ANZ locations around Fiji

What will your day look like?

As a Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing and executing governance practices, to ensure processes for monitoring delivery are well managed to meet ANZ policy requirements and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the Governance Team Lead in monitoring the delivery of team output.

  • Audit and risk management activities, including the delivery of forums.

  • Vendor governance in accordance with internal policy requirements.

  • Delivery of performance and internal reports as needed.

  • Providing expert advice on governance queries/issues.

  • Identifying and delivering opportunities to uplift Governance practices and business processes.

  • Managing ad hoc tasks, reviews, and engaging with business stakeholders, the wider team, and subject matter experts to support the delivery of business priorities.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven experience in HR governance, compliance, or a related role

  • Designing, developing and executing governance practices, to ensure processes for monitoring delivery are well managed to meet ANZ policy requirements and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the Governance Team Lead in monitoring the delivery of team output.

  • Audit and risk management activities, including the delivery of forums.

  • Vendor governance in accordance with internal policy requirements.

  • Delivery of performance and internal reports as needed.

  • Providing expert advice on governance queries/issues.

  • Identifying and delivering opportunities to uplift Governance practices and business processes.
