About the Role
As Senior Marketing Manager Pacific, you will lead the development and delivery of marketing strategies and communications that support ANZ’s growth ambitions across the Pacific. Working closely with the Pacific leadership team, you will develop and execute integrated campaigns and initiatives that strengthen the ANZ brand, deliver positive financial outcomes for customers, and achieve business growth objectives.
You will influence stakeholders across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver new initiatives, simplification and campaigns aligned to strategic priorities and customer needs. A sizable part of the role is to lead customer communications for business change initiatives, ensuring customers are informed and supported through change while delivering positive customer and business outcomes.
Reporting into the Head of Brand & Advertising for New Zealand, this role acts as a people leader for the Pacific Marketing team based in Fiji. You will build capability, foster a high-performing culture, and support the growth and development of your team so they can succeed.

Role Location: This position can be based in either New Zealand or the Pacific region, subject to the successful candidate's location and work eligibility.
What will your day look like?
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
• Lead, prioritise and manage change and simplification communications across eight Pacific nations to ensure we remain a compliant business
• Own campaign leadership across strategy, communications planning, creative development, and into paid and owned channel delivery
• Influence senior stakeholders to align on key priorities, investment, and what we take to market
• Lead and develop a high-performing team through values-led leadership, coaching and capability uplift
• Bring discipline expertise, embedding current and future best practice within the Marketing COE
• Manage campaign and sponsorship budgets effectively, ensuring smart investment and strong returns
• Be accountable for marketing effectiveness and business outcomes, including ROI and delivery against objectives
• Ensure all initiatives meet risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements, with strong governance throughout delivery
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• 8+ years' experience in marketing, change communications, customer programmes, simplification initiatives, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading teams, whether through people leadership and/or cross-functional squad leadership, with a strong focus on coaching and capability development.
• Strong strategic thinking and customer insight capabilities, with the ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging and securing buy-in from senior leaders.
• Experience managing agency and external partner relationships to deliver successful business and customer outcomes.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and resource management skills, with a good understanding of agile delivery methodologies and ways of working.
• Experience managing budgets, ideally across complex or large-scale marketing and customer programmes.
Nice to have:
• Experience in financial services or a regulated environment
• Media planning and media agency management experience
• Creative agency management experience
