About the Role


As Senior Manager, Financial Control – Pacific, you will play a critical leadership role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthening financial governance, and ensuring compliance across the Pacific Business Unit.

You will:

  • Lead the monthly financial close process, including analytical reviews and delivery of results to Divisional Finance.
  • Oversee statutory, regulatory, and tax reporting requirements, ensuring all obligations are met.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of Financial Statements, audit workpapers, and reconciliations.
  • Manage onshore and offshore delivery, resolving issues and ensuring service excellence.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing financial control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strong risk awareness.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting fact‑based decision making and trusted financial governance.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

•    A Bachelor’s degree and CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent)
•    Demonstrated experience operating at a senior level within Finance. 
•    Significant experience in statutory, regulatory, and tax accounting within a banking environment. 
•    Strong leadership and people management skills. 
•    Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. 
•    Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with policies, risk frameworks, and governance requirements. 
•    Experience working with offshore teams (advantageous).
