About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Research and Analysis, you are responsible for the efficient and effective end-to-end credit risk analysis function - including transaction structuring, risk analysis, credit approval, review and monitoring processes around an identified portfolio of customers.

What will your day look like?

You are also responsible with the following:

• Ensure that R&A process, procedures and reporting facilitate the goals of the country or region to meet overall local and global business targets.
• Maintain strong working relationships across relationship / risk / product - including within and beyond own country / region as applicable - to meet our customer objectives.
• Ensure development and maintenance and application of industry/client knowledge at a market leading level. Apply this to facilitate leading client value-add solutions and superior risk analysis.
• Deliver efficient and effective counterparty and industry analysis. Drive the quality of the output relative to your client portfolio to ensure quality customer and industry insight. Ensure that you and your team reps (if applicable) are available to help with best practice across the wider region, as required.
• Strong first line of defence, pro-active risk management, strong compliance.
• Exercise of CAD (if applicable) in an efficient and quality manner. Ensure a high level of oversight across the designated [Country] portfolio. Take responsibility for issues that you or the team identifies and drive to conclusion and appropriate resolution.
• Manage and coach (and/or assist manage and coach) your respective team members.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Extensive banking industry experience focused on credit and broader risk disciplines
• Excellent understanding of risk arising from credit risk, market risk, operational risk - across customer, product, and country
• People management experience coupled with conceptual thinking capability
• Excellent strong communication skills both written and verbal
• High motivated, self-directed and team player
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
