About the Role
As the Senior Commercial Strategy and Transformation Manager, you will play a key role in delivering important remediation initiatives and transformation projects. You’ll be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing key activities, ensuring strong coordination and execution across the business.
You will work closely with stakeholders to align initiatives to ANZ’s strategic priorities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to a high standard. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful outcomes while working across a range of business priorities.

What will your day look like?
As the Senior Commercial Strategy and Transformation Manager, you will:
• Delivering projects focusing on remedial actions identified and delivering solutions recognising focus on productivity and simplification of processes.
• Initialising and coordinating budget applications including scoping and costing and managing initiatives to those budgets.
• Engaging effectively with, and managing expectations of Pacific Business Units, Country Heads, Heads of Lending, Chief Risk Officer, Data Insights, Change Innovation, Commercial Initiatives, Commercial Assurance, Head of Governance and Controls and other internal stakeholders.
• Identifying, analysing and responding to project risks, demands and issues and ensuring the accuracy of processes and procedures used by the Business in a readily accessible format.
• Creating processes and guidance that maintains a strong line of defence and ensure that adequate risk controls are in place to prevent exposure for the business and complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships
• Commercial Acumen with an ability to be able to take a big picture view of the organisation, the market and internal and external pressures and trends and identify actions or strategies to drive efficiency and create long term value.
• Project management skills and the ability to apply processes, methods, knowledge and tools to initiate, plan, execute and control projects in order to achieve specific business success criteria within the parameters of cost, time and quality.
• Experiences with developing change plans that have helped manage the Change Process including scoping, communication and managing resources.
