About the Role
As Head of Lending Pacific Operations, you will lead the strategic direction and end‑to‑end delivery of ANZ’s credit and lending operations across the Pacific. The role has oversight of Retail Consumer Lending and Small Business, with accountability for ensuring credit activities are executed effectively, efficiently and in line with ANZ’s credit policies and risk appetite.
You will lead the credit function across the full lending lifecycle, with oversight of credit assessment, post‑approval activities and collections, driving consistent decision‑making, strong risk discipline and operational effectiveness across the portfolio.
The role has accountability across the following core functional areas:
• Credit Assessment (Retail & Small Business)
• Post‑Assessment
• Collections
• Excesses and Write‑offs
The role provides regional oversight of Retail collections, working in partnership with Pacific Credit and country stakeholders to support portfolio outcomes and disciplined credit execution.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Extensive experience in credit within a large financial institution
• Background in Operations Management and Capacity Planning with proven experience in delivering well managed processes and controls
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems and design and implement solutions recommendations to accomplish business goals
• Providing oversight on the effective management of delinquent accounts, including customer re‑engagement and re‑education
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills
• Create an environment that supports engagement, capability development and performance
• Strong Risk Awareness and Culture
