About Us

At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.

About the Role

As an Automation Analyst in Group Technology, you will manage the day‑to‑day automation operational tasks, escalating issues to the appropriate business teams when needed. You will monitor and test automation scripts to ensure high‑quality, efficient delivery, while analysing operational trends to provide insights and improvement recommendations. As the first point of technical support, you’ll diagnose faults in team-developed tools, deliver excellent customer service, and provide effective technical resolutions. You will also resolve automation incidents, raise work requests, support core system platforms, and maintain Web Application Servers through regular patching. In addition, you’ll apply ITIL-aligned Technology Operating Framework practices—covering Request, Incident, Problem, and Change Management—and manage automation script deployments across Development, QA, and Production environments.

Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
