About the Role
As a Lending Manager, you will be responsible for assessing the financial needs of customers and providing options to meet those needs in pursuit of specific sales, service, growth and opportunity targets. Your role will have emphasis on Mortgage Lending and Small Business Lending.
Role Type: Permanent role
Role Location: South Brisbane/Gold Coast QLD
Work Hours: Full time role, 37.5 hours
What will your day look like?
As a Lending Manager, you will:

Collaborate across and within teams and build strong relationships with customers to match the right solution to each customer’s needs – placing the customer at the heart of decisions

Know and clarify what’s expected, taking accountability to resolve problems and set high personal standards to deliver timely results in a changing environment

Build strong relationships, work effectively in diverse and flexible teams, take ownership for learning and development and take action to enhance own and others’ safety and wellbeing

Keep things simple while driving innovation, removing blockages and anticipate and adapt to changing market and business challenges

Manage the quality of own data input and proactively help identify risks and issues. Role model the Suncorp Bank Values, Code of Conduct and Leader
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base

Demonstrated experience in financial services

Demonstrated understanding of the business, market and external environment

Demonstrated understanding of Personal Banking products and processes
-
Sound understanding and knowledge of Financial Services Legislation requirements
-
Understanding of banking and financial industry principles and regulations
